Transformers Revenge of The Fallen Review

Hey all. My name is Todd Crawford. I'm new to blogging. I will start off with something that should be easy. Last week or the week before that I went with one of my friends to watch Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. I loved the first movie so much. The action in the movie was awesome. There are flaws with the movie which most of you will probably see when you watch the movie. Some plot issues arise as parts of the first movie are thrown out the window in particular "the freezing depths of the ocean keeping the Decepticons at the bottom of the ocean" "The apparent stupidity of the Autobots not using the allspark to bring back Jazz the Decepticons know what to do" (minor spoiler), the whole cover up didn't really make much sense either.

Onto the characters. There were way too many characters that were added into this movie which didn't need to be. To list them Skids and Mudflap, Leo, Megan Fox's character could have been taken out and the story wouldn't have missed her at all. The two annoying characters were Skids and Mudflap. They were generally being rascist charictures. The whole look of the too characters are hideous compared to the other Autobots. These two had the biggest screen time compared to the other Autobots. Bumblebee got little screen time and he was with these two the whole movie. Towards the end battle scene they are fighting the constructicons then the next scene they disappear. I would have liked to see more screen time for Ironhide, Sideswipe, Arcee, Jolt and the third motorcycle and the rest of the Autobots. Optimus Prime was awesome in the movie. The fight scene at the end was a little disappointing between him and the Fallen though. I would have liked to see more of Soundwave. I was still waiting for Tidal Wave to show up. I was also looking for some kind of Beast Wars tie in. I thought I saw one nudge at it when there was this tiny wasp robot flying around which Sam grabbed and destroyed.

Overall the movie wasn't bad. I think it would have been way better without the Twins and Leo. If you have kids I wouldn't recommend it. There were at least three times where the f bomb was dropped in the movie. There were also a lot of vulgar jokes in the movie. This movie could have gone without the comedy in it. They were also using Megan Fox too much in the movie getting upclose shots of cleavage and butt. My friend and I were talking about the rating and were suprised that it got a PG-13 rating. We both agreed if we had kids we wouldn't have let them watch this movie. For us it was ok but I still say it could have been better.
